Okay girlies, I’m hunting for the best light pink nail polish and I need your help before I lose my mind scrolling through swatches online. I want something soft and barely-there that still reads as pink, not one of those sneaky ones that turns out bubblegum or so beige it looks like I forgot to paint my nails.
Ideally I want a creme, sheer, or shimmer formula that leans milky-white-pink, right on the edge of neutral but still girly. Bonus points if it wears more than two days.
Zoya Bela is my pick for that milky white-pink sweet spot. Two coats look soft, three gets you more of a blurred sheer cream finish.
If you want shimmer, ILNP Sweet Pea is a pale pink with a fine sparkle. Both Zoya and ILNP last me about five days if I do thin coats and a decent top coat.
Cirque Colors Rosewater Jelly is glassier and more of a barely-there pink.
CND Vinylux Beau, sheer creme, two coats and I usually get close to a week out of it.
Manucurist Hortencia gets the milky white-pink right and I get about four days before it starts to chip.
OPI Bubble Bath. It’s sheer and a little jelly-like so two coats gets you that your nails but better look, and I usually get five or six days out of it before it starts bugging me (see this).
